1. Competition Overview

2. Competition Prizes

The prize amounts for each place will be announced at the start of the next competition. Stay tuned for more details and get ready to compete for substantial rewards in.

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Participants must be of legal age (18 years or older).
• Only one contest account per person is allowed.
• Winners must be eligible to open a live account (pass KYC) with Switch Markets to claim the prize. Those who do not meet the criteria for opening a live account will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be chosen.
• Participants must provide accurate and truthful information during registration. Providing false information may result in disqualification at any stage of the Competition.
• By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that they are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with such prize including but not limited to any income, profits and gains and any other tax, duty, contribution, levy or charge in the nature of tax of any nature, whether domestic or foreign.
• All former and current employees of Think Huge Ltd / Switch Markets and each of its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively) and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are prohibited from participating in the Competition.

4. General Rules

• The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or engages in fraudulent or unfair trading practices, including but not limited to:
  • IP address matching between two or more participants.
  • Arbitrage trading or any abuse related to pricing and/or quotes.
• You must execute and realise a minimum of 3 trades throughout the competition duration to qualify for a cash prize.
• All trading will be executed from a MetaTrader 5 Demo competition trading account issued by Switch Markets.
• Demos are blocked from trading before the competition starts.
• There are no trading restrictions. All strategies are permitted. No restrictions on placing SL, TP or Pending Orders. Partial closing allowed.
• All participants must register via the specific registration process on the HowToTrade competition registration page.
• All competition accounts will have the following trading conditions:
  • Account type: Switch Markets Pro Account
  • Initial deposit: The amount of the initial deposit will be announced at the beginning of the next competition.
  • Leverage: 1:500
  • Minimum trade size: 0.01 lot
  • Maximum trade size: Forex: 50 Lots, Futures 15 Contracts, Cash and Shares 100 Contracts, Cryptos 10 Lots.
  • Trade increment: 0.01 lot
  • Maximum number of open positions/pending orders: Unlimited
  • Trading with Expert Advisors is permitted.
• Contest statistics will be available on the HowToTrade.com website.
• At the end of the competition, all open positions and their respective floats will be used in the final ‘realised’ balance calculation.
• The participants with the highest balances who adhere to all the conditions will be declared winners.
• Winners consent to the publication of their names on HowToTrade.com and Switch Markets' social media pages.
• Winners also consent to sharing their trading and background experience for our “winners podium page”.
• Participants agree that some of their registration information (e.g. country of residence) will be publicly available on HowToTrade.com and Switch Markets' social media pages.
• Prizes will be credited to the winner's live account with Switch Markets within 20 calendar days after the announcement and can be withdrawn without restrictions or used for trading on a live account.
• If winners do not have an approved live account with Switch Markets, they must provide necessary documents and information as per standard account opening procedures. Discrepancies between initial registration data and the provided documents may lead to disqualification. Failure to open a live account within 20 business days will also result in disqualification.
• In case of a tie, the prize will be equally shared among the participants with equal balances.
• The Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate any prize upon evidence of fraudulent activity involving the prize funds.
• Participation in the Competition should not be seen as an incentive to trade. Engage in the competition only if you are confident in your trading abilities.
• You can only win one time per broker sponsoring a competition. Should a sponsoring broker run a new competition at a later date, you will not be eligible to win a second cash prize unless they exclusively state otherwise.
